Parents of Greene County eighth graders are encouraged to attend an informational parent meeting Tuesday, March 29, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the high school auditorium.
The meeting is intended to answer parents’ questions and provide information to help students have a smooth first year in high school, a spokesperson said.
Topics to be covered include gaining a better understanding of high school credits; graduation and course requirements (review class rank, GPA, and eligibility for graduation; expectations and tools to having a successful high school experience; involvement in activities and eligibility requirements; and building a ninth grade class schedule. The meeting will end with a question and answer session.
